Investing into Neurodiverse Talent:

The financial services industry continues to recognise the need for change across underrepresented diverse groups. Cultivating a diverse workforce has proven to result in a happier, more effective workforce which produces healthier culture and a greater diversity of thought. Platforms such as 10,000 Black Interns and The 100% Club have created platforms for individuals who identify with these categories of diversity to have greater access to the industry, as well as a community platform.

Neuropool, a platform which acts as a talent platform for neurodivergent individuals, is paving the way for neurodivergent candidates to access the working world with greater recognition and understanding. As a result, employers have the ability and clarity to engage with a talent pool which had previously been mis, or, underrepresented. The platform has gained significant investment, creating a ripple effect for both candidates and employers.

The Growth Impact Fund, a social impact investment fund developed by Big Issue Invest and UnLtd, has made its first investment in a neurodivergent talent platform called Neuropool. The Fund invested £300,000 in Neuropool, which aims to get more than 10,000 neurodivergent people into employment by 2030. This investment is a major step towards tackling the underrepresentation in the workplace of people from neurodivergent backgrounds.
