Navin Raina, managing director at AMC Executive Search, says 2020 was “a difficult year” but adds: “As markets have boomed, so has the investment industry with a number of our clients having record years. “From Q3 of last year onwards, we began to see a return of senior strategic hiring and this has continued in 2021.” Hiring for environmental, social and governance-related roles, both at the strategic and tactical levels, and for roles within real estate, infrastructure and direct lending, continues apace, according to Mr Raina. “The outlook for the rest of 2021 is very strong as major financial markets come out of lockdown,” he adds.
